Moved in, now
Mar. 16th, 2005 08:11 pmI'm moved in, at least most of the way; my housemate makes complaining remarks about the minimac setup occupying only 25% of the dining-room table, and the ADSL hasn't been reconnected so I'm using a weird 08456-number dialup service with no user authentication. It's a first-floor flat, it feels reasonably cosy but gives me the strong feeling of having too many possessions for the space.

Date: 2005-03-18 12:16 am (UTC)Everything is bigger and better here in `Merka, just ask beloved Leader. 8-) And I knew someone who left a table outside on their deck over winter and spring. It did grow, a nice thick coat of moss with various plants sprouting out of it. Don't know why you'd want to do that, as it would seem to make it difficult to use a computer on it.
I see the problem. A keyboard tray would allow more space, but is not a typical addition to a dining table. And you're not going to get much smaller than a mini-mac with LCD. You could have gone with the cordless keyboard, I suppose.
How do you like the mini so far?
