Moved in, now

I'm moved in, at least most of the way; my housemate makes complaining remarks about the minimac setup occupying only 25% of the dining-room table, and the ADSL hasn't been reconnected so I'm using a weird 08456-number dialup service with no user authentication. It's a first-floor flat, it feels reasonably cosy but gives me the strong feeling of having too many possessions for the space.

OK, for us `Merkins - what's a "08456-number" ?

ANd how can a minmac take up 1/4 a dining table? Using a big CRT?
