I know nothing about the rest, but enjoyed The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles so would recommend finishing it before you give it away.

PS, I am currently reading "Niccolo Rising" which I think I borrowed from you something in the region of 3-4 years ago. Um. Would you like it back soon?

The only one I'm qualified to comment on is the Murakami, to which I will say: I like him very much but he's an acquired taste and TWUBC is a particularly long book of his, so if you're having to force yourself through it then I'd give up and try a shorter one.
