I know nothing about the rest, but enjoyed The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles so would recommend finishing it before you give it away.

You have to read loans from other people first, not to clear a debt but because you already know someone to enthuse/rage with (delete as appropriate).

I hear many excellent things about "Microcosm" and wish you to read it on my behalf.

Gawd, I don't know. I had made a resolution to get through my own To Read pile (I knew things were bad when I had to buy my To Read pile its own small bookcase); I reduced the resolution to 'get pile down to ten books' and I'm still failing.
