And get rid of the ants that are farming them, if any, by pouring boiling water on their homes.

I don't actually think aphids are just as pretty as roses, but I'll generally pick any option that involves people growing their hair long.

Isn't lavender suppposed to repel aphids? Hence the pretty lavender bushes grown around the rose garden in the botanical garden.

You could always try jsut dabbing them with essential oil, though lavender scented roses might confuse people :)
