Not at all sure how people found this one in the first place, but it just goes to show the importance of not feeding radioactive growth hormone to your earwigs, or possibly just of ensuring your scanner is free of beetles.

I thought they were satalite photos. Surely they cant be earwigs in space. Sounds more like someone has doctored it.

No, the satellite ones tend to be the blurry ones without much detail. The best quality stuff is all from photographs taken by planes.

This one's scanned, and I'm told the stain at the rear is the bug poop that came out when it got squished against the glass of the scanner.

Ah, great, thank you for this. I think this should be brought to the attention of the US Administration, they need something else to worry about and giant earwigs would seem to be a good fit.
