Some day I will figure out a way to display tables of photos in LJ without breaking Friends pages from Beijing to Bombay, but it is 1am, so this is probably not that day. Photos under cut:

The Pergamon also contains a Museum of Islamic Art, including these amazingly intricate multiply-tesselated inscribed tiles
Potsdamer Platz is become a marvel of new steel and glass, offices for multinationals and apartments for their executives. This is the city of Marshall von Moltke; Marshall McLuhan, quoted on a large banner on the new Canadian embassy, would be proud at the contrast

The outside of the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium feature some purely whimsical early-C20 public art; this may be the most cheerful terracota triceratops I've seen.

I have visited the future, and it works

There's a whole genre of alternate history to which these photos (look through the legs of the signs ...) would be the book-ends; I somehow imagine Ken Macleod might appreciate them, though the story to bring the city such that it can be so labelled wasn't exactly what those who visited the socialist future and saw it working anticipated. On the other hand, there is the forest of crosses just to the right of the Soviet Sector sign, the memorial to those, named or unnamed, who died crossing the Wall you can see to the left of the sign.

Nice pics, but the Potsdammerplatz shot being all the way over, or something else about your formatting, is maging a mess of the formatting of my Friends view.

There must be a better way than sticking the whole thing under a cut, but that works

Thank you for the photos, and thank you for cutting! Tables are trickly, and one dropped or mis-nested tag can cause chaos, particularly in tables-based layouts like Opal. As far as I can tell from peering at page source, you may be missing some [/td] tags in salient places.
