Tomorrow (Wednesday) I'm planning to watch the two Christopher Guest films (Mighty Wind and Best in Show; folk music and Crufts, looked at from the angle that brought the world Spinal Tap) on at the Arts cinema at 1:30. Would anyone else be interested? If so, you know where the lobby of the Arts picture-house is ...

No, because it's too far, but I just wanted to say that Mighty Wind is Zorinth's favourite film, and he and I have seen it six times, and never without a warm glow, even if we can recite all the lines and sing all the songs.

I liked Mighty Wind a lot, though walked out of Best in Show after five minutes: two formulaic mockumentaries in a row is excessive, and I can identify with folk-singers much more easily than with dog-fanciers.
