Mary Elizabeth Hodges, 23/09/1916 - 08/09/2009

Betty died this morning, sitting in her room at the old-folks home after having her breakfast porridge, with one of the staff holding her hand because she'd been sounding rather ill.

She'd been unwell for most of the last year, but lucid to the end.

My last grandparent; I'll miss her a great deal.
