I am in south-west Paris. My wallet isn't. At least I still have my phone, which would be much more tedious to lose.

I've cancelled four bank cards and wonder why I habitually carry four bank cards. Will live off the company credit card until Friday.

Boy, you're fast on the trigger. I've lost my wallet about a dozen times and never cancelled anything because I was sure it'd turn up -- I'd find it eventually somewhere, figure out which store I left it at, someone on the street would find it, etc. -- and it did. I only had to cancel stuff once, when I lost it and it stayed lost for a few days.

Do you have whatever ID and tickets and whatever you need to get home, anyway? Hope so; I guess you'd have mentioned if there were a serious problem like that.

I've been thinking I should carry maybe two fewer cards myself.
