The text would be in a more authentically lolcats font if I knew how to drive the GIMP. But I don't, so it isn't. Sorries.
I now expect j4 to jump on me with pointy boots for some unexpected violation of the semiotics of the lol, and my parents to be very confused when they see this as to what its underlying purpose is.
(I think "I can be" or "Is I can be" is slightly more idiomatic lolcat than "I is can be", but it'd certainly be understood by a native speaker, and I wouldn't have said anything about it if you hadn't invoked me by name, and I did lol, so you can has cheezburger of lolgoodness.)
I think Impact is the font you want for lolfoo, btw, but I don't know how to drive the GIMP either so I don't know how easy it is to get normal fonts or if you have to know what the equivalent linux-friendly font is, or whether fonts work like that, or... The list of things I do not know is, in fact, longer than a very long longcat.
Hum. If it's a pure matter of fonts, surely both Linux and Windows use Truetype these days, so you could just drop the appropriate .ttf into Windows and the tool of your choice, no leather masks and bondage required?
(I nominated myself the patron saint of snails back in 1986, you know. Mostly this involves not stepping on them, and moving them from foortpaths and roads onto grass verges in heavy rainstorms so as to prevent other people from stepping on them and to prevent energy wastage by the poor dear things.)
