Huygens pictures
Jan. 16th, 2005 02:55 pmI downloaded all the Huygens images, sorted them out into a horizontal format (side-looking then slant-looking then down-looking), and did a bit of contrast enhancement.
If anyone's interested, http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~twomack/brighten - pick up the .TAR file if you want all the pictures. The top and bottom are mostly shots of the famous orange pebbles, but there's decent descent imagery in the middle. I didn't do any mosaicing (it was 2am Saturday when I did most of this, annoyed that LJ went down so I couldn't advertise it then), and ESA have managed it better than I would have anyway.
